Smug unmarrieds … Keanu Reeves and Robin Wright Penn in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee
Rebecca Miller's 2008 novel of the same name provides the recipe for this hugely overegged pudding of a film, adapted and directed by the author.

It's an indulgent, complacent family comedy-drama, for which Miller has mobilised a starry cast. An ageing publisher, crustily played by Alan Arkin, is experiencing subtle new strains of domestic tension with his beautiful, enigmatic second wife Pippa: this is a nice, poised performance from Robin Wright Penn. A series of voiceover-driven flashbacks disclose her own wild-child past, which she repudiated on getting married in penance for an awful secret guilt.
Wright Penn's dissatisfaction propels her to an affair with a funky neighbour: a heart-sinkingly blank, affectless performance from Keanu Reeves, who has never looked more lobotomised on screen. None of the characters is seeing a shrink, but this story surely has its origins in therapy. A film that is very pleased with itself.

Keanu Reeves, who unfortunately was NOT photographed jogging on the street shirtless, was seen shopping with a few females in NYC. Even with a full beard, a hat and sunglasses the paparazzi managed to track the actor down. It's... amazing.

Last time we saw Keanu Reeves he was enjoying some fine wine in Italy. Our boy has made his way over to Paris where he was spotted arriving at the Hotel Plaza Athenee today.

If I was in Rome right now all I would think of is eating their fab food and drinking their amazing wine 24/7, just like Keanu Reeves is doing! The actor was spotted having lunch with a friend today.
Recently a woman in Canada filed a lawsuit against Reeves claiming he owes her child support for his three children with her. She says she has known him since she was 9 years old and he was 7 years of age. Reeves spokesperson denies his client ever met the woman, Karen Sala.
She seeks a DNA test and child support of $150,000 per month, retroactive to June 1988, as well as $3 million per month in spousal support retroactive to November 2006.
